Let me begin with sharing that I love the people I have met as a result of offering floatation. I have seen people from as far Costa Rica, Russia, Germany, to people from PA, NY, FL, CA, RI, NH, CT, and many local. Even though people come from different backgrounds, and cultures, the one commonality is their desire to experience a deeper connection with self.
In all the years, the whole 13 of them, in offering floatation, I have seen only a few folks who were not into the experience of floating. I am not sure I could narrow it down to who might love it and who doesn’t but I can say, the majority of folks who find their way to the tank, LOVE IT! This makes my job extremely enjoyable.
The important think to remember is that just as all people are unique, so is every float session. Let go of any expectations of what you read or hear and simply just “BE” and surrender to your own unique experience.
I can’t wait to try a float! I’ve been hearing about it for years since living on the west coast. We are so lucky to have a tank right here in central MA!
Hello Natalia,
Yes, it is wonderful to have a tank in MA. Other states have been offering floatation for years and many states have several tanks. Believe it or not, one of the first tanks was in Worcester, MA in the Telegram & Gazette building. It was owned by a man named Tank, assuming his name came from the service he offered. He is the owner of Bancroft Massage School now. There is a little history for you.
California has been offering floating for 40 years. I have offered this service for the past thirteen years and we have a long way to go in educating the public to the benefits. It’s exciting that people are beginning to awaken to the journey and utilizing floatation as a means of support.
I too look forward to your first float, you will surely love it.
